Honours for retiring member of the CLWD Board of Directors

Doris Weber of Walkerton retired from service as a volunteer with Community Living Walkerton and District, effective June 27, 2018. Doris began in 1992 as a volunteer on committees of the board. In 1998 she was elected as a member of the Board of Directors and has served as a self-declared self-advocate each year following. Doris has been an active and interested participant at meetings and a has represented the board and our association well at various meetings, events and conferences.

The members of the Board of Directors and the membership of CLWD acknowledged Doris for her 26 years of service during the 61st Annual General Meeting of Community Living Walkerton and District, June 27, 2018.

Certificates and letters of honour were also received by Doris from the Council and Community Living Ontario, the Municipality of Brockton, MPP Lisa Thompson, and MP Ben Lobb.
