Many families request that relatives and friends make a donation In Memory when they lose a loved one; the funeral home can assist with that communication. It’s a meaningful way to express sympathy to the bereaved family. A receipt for all donations above $10 is issued to the donor for income tax purposes.
In a world where you can make many different arrangements online, it’s simple now to do charitable giving online; it’s easy, quick and secure. CanadaHelps.org, is a public charitable foundation created to accept charitable donations online for over 80,000 charitable organizations throughout Canada.
Please visit our office at 19 Durham St. Walkerton to make a donation in person. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Membership Does Make A Difference…
Since 1956, Community Living Walkerton and District, a not-for-profit organization, has been committed to assisting people who have an intellectual disability and their families. It began with our grass roots origin - families formed the Association – and continues today within the governance of our volunteer Board of Directors.
While the day to day operations of the services and administration of the organization lay with the Executive Director and staff, members and families continue to influence our supports and services. We actively encourage and benefit from the input of family members, self-advocates, volunteers, staff and community organizations and businesses.
A membership will provide you with a voice in this local Association and Community Living Ontario as we respond to local and provincial challenges. You also benefit by being kept up-to-date through our newsletter, Vision. Your voice can make a difference since membership provides you the opportunity to vote at our Annual General Meeting held each year in June.
Help our membership grow and support opportunities for all people! Ask us about hiring a person with a disability. We can bring employers and people with intellectual disabilities together to create mutually beneficial employment relationships.
If you are a business interested in learning more about the opportunity to provide meaningful employment to someone we support, please contact Charlene Hayes 519 881 3713 ext. 207 email@example.com
